As of 5th November 2020, St Philip’s Church is open only for individual prayer at specific times. We will live stream some of our services online (see below)
 

St Philip’s is an Anglican Church. We usually have servers, robed choir and Chalice assistants at principal services. There is lay involvement in intercessions and readings on Sundays and principal feast days. St Philip’s caters for the spiritual needs and interest of all ages. 
We have a thriving Junior Church and an exciting programme of social events throughout the year, although these are currently suspended.

St Philip’s is open for individual, personal prayer on Wednesdays and Sundays between 9am and 10am, but otherwise closed including for public worship during the current lockdown.  

Services will  be streamed online:

Sundays: 10.30am Holy Communion, live streamed 

Wednesdays: 10.30am
Holy Communion, live streamed

Opportunity for individual prayer on Sundays and Wednesdays, between 9am and 10am (face masks must be worn).

The PCC will keep arrangements under review and will respond prayerfully and carefully to changes in lockdown guidance from the Church of England and the Government. 

The church will be locked at all other times

NEWS:

We are fundraising!

Weʼre hoping to raise £4,000 to meet the ongoing running cost and the cost of equipment to enhance ventilation in the church/hall for the congregation and choir.

The APCM due to have been held on Sunday 26th April 2020 was postponed and will now take place in 2021 before 31st May 2021. The election of churchwardens and lay representatives to the Deanery Synod was also deferred.
These exceptional amendments to the Church Representation Rules are formalised in an Instruments from the Bishop of Southwark dated 23rd March 2020 and 9th September 2020.
